Join PPGT for our new film screening club in Fort Worth, where we’ll watch & discuss films that explore themes surrounding reproductive justice as a community!
We’re kicking our screenings off by celebrating Women’s History Month with a showing of The Janes, a documentary that tells the story of a group of women who performed safe but illegal abortions in Chicago until the passage of Roe v. Wade. We’ll follow the screening with a discussion about how we can create networks of support that prioritize community care, along with writing love letters to women who have made a difference in our lives. We provide the popcorn & drinks; you bring your friends and fellow activists!

?? Reverse Cowgirl by Mackenzie Wark
What if you were trans and didn't know it? What if there were some hole in your life and you didn't even know it was there? What if you went through life not knowing why you only felt at home in your body at peak moments of drugs and sex? What if you expended your days avoiding an absence, a hole in being? Reverse Cowgirl is not exactly a memoir. The author doesn't, in the end, have any answers as to who she really is or was, although maybe she figures out what she could become.
Traveling from Sydney in the 1980s to New York today, Reverse Cowgirl is a comedy of errors, chronicling the author's failed attempts at being gay and at being straight across the shifting political and media landscapes of the late twentieth century.

PPGT Virtual: (Repro)cussions - “Parental Rights” or Political Control?
May 21, 2026
7:00 PM
-
8:30 PM
This is a Virtual Event - PPGT, Dallas, TX 75231
“Parental rights” has become a powerful political slogan - but in practice, it is increasingly used to justify government control over deeply personal family decisions. In this virtual event, medical providers, legal experts, and advocates will examine how these policies are reshaping healthcare, education, and access to information for young people and families. The conversation will explore who is harmed when lawmakers override families’ choices, how these laws affect access to care and support, and what this trend reveals about broader attacks on bodily autonomy, privacy, and decision-making.
