PPGT Virtual: (Repro)cussions - Pregnancy, Maternal Health & the Backsliding of Care November 17, 2026 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM This is a Virtual Event - PPGT, Dallas, TX 75231 The consequences of abortion restrictions extend far beyond whether someone can obtain an abortion. This conversation will look at what happens to pregnancy and maternal healthcare in a post-Roe environment — particularly in Texas. What happens when doctors are forced to navigate unclear laws while treating pregnancy complications? How do abortion restrictions intersect with existing racial, economic, and geographic disparities in maternal health? And what does it mean for Texas to restrict reproductive healthcare in a state already confronting significant maternal health challenges? This session moves beyond statistics to examine how policy decisions affect patients, providers, and families — and what the future of maternal healthcare could look like in Texas.
