The Austin Mixed Media for Repro Health Club returns for its second meeting, continuing a journey into the Gilead Universe with The Testaments by Margaret Atwood. This month’s discussion explores rebellion, resistance, and the collapse of totalitarian regimes, alongside reflections on what these themes can teach us about advocacy today.
This club is designed as a thoughtful, supportive space, created in collaboration with local shops whose missions align with Planned Parenthood. Expect meaningful conversation, connection, and shared reflection.
Supporting the Austin Public Library or local bookstores when getting a copy of the book is encouraged.

Join YWCA Greater Austin and Planned Parenthood for an engaging event covering topics such as the reproductive systems and menstrual cycle, contraceptive methods, reproductive justice, and the connection between mental and reproductive health.
Attendees will also enjoy an affirmation station activity, snacks, and goodie bags. This event is for ages 15+, and participants should bring an ID or a document showing proof of address in Travis County, as required by YWCA's reproductive health grant. However, no one will be turned away for lack of or refusal to provide ID or proof of address.
