The Austin Mixed Media for Repro Health Club returns for its second meeting, continuing a journey into the Gilead Universe with The Testaments by Margaret Atwood. This month’s discussion explores rebellion, resistance, and the collapse of totalitarian regimes, alongside reflections on what these themes can teach us about advocacy today.
This club is designed as a thoughtful, supportive space, created in collaboration with local shops whose missions align with Planned Parenthood. Expect meaningful conversation, connection, and shared reflection.

In packed arenas, live-streamed by millions, prisoners compete as gladiators for the ultimate prize: their freedom. This novel explores critiques of the carceral system, capitalist society, and the commodification of human suffering.
Our book club is a safe space for all to attend; you don't need to finish the book to join the discussion. We hope to see you there!
