Spokane Repro Reading Room Book Club

Join our Spokane community at this months book club. All are welcome to sign up, please register since space is limited. This month's book is "A Spark of Joy" by Jodie Picoult. "A Spark of Light" is a 2018 novel by Jodi Picoult about a hostage situation at a women's health clinic. The story unfolds in reverse chronological order, exploring the lives of the hostages and the gunman, and humanizing the debate surrounding abortion through multiple perspectives. A central element of the plot is a hostage negotiator trying to save the hostages, including his own teenage daughter.
