Join us for our next Feminist Book Club as we discuss Fruto by Daniela Rea, a powerful reflection on care and survival.
We’ll gather at Búho in Brownsville on Saturday, June 13 at 12 p.m. for conversation, community, and refreshments. The first 30 people to arrive will receive a free copy of the book, and we’ll also be making care packs with chocolates, ibuprofen, and pads. Pad donations are highly encouraged!

From our friends/hosts at Thrive Youth Center: "Directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Luchina Fisher and executive produced by Dwyane Wade, The Dads follows fathers of trans and nonbinary children as they navigate a rapidly changing political landscape while fighting to support and protect their families.
This screening is especially meaningful for San Antonio, as one of the featured fathers, Ed Diaz, is a local dad whose story is featured in the film."
