Virtual Gathering - PPCWNY
Volunteer Advocates are a community of dedicated volunteers across the Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York region (Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo New York and the wonderful communities in between) who are interested in engaging in consistent advocacy for sexual and reproductive freedom.
Volunteer Advocates tell their Planned Parenthood stories, attend monthly teach-ins and Take Action nights, and are regularly engaged in work to support PPCWNY, stand up for their rights, and stand up for the rights of others. Joining orientation is the first step to engaging in the Volunteer Advocate Program.
Orientation happens every month, so if you can't make this one, just attend the next! Please note that this orientation is to prepare volunteers who are LOCAL to Central and Western New York. We can't wait to see you!

RESTORE Sexual Assault Services is heartbroken by the tragic murder of Sam Nordquist and we know that this act of violence does not exist in a vacuum. We are creating space of solidarity with and for our Transgender neighbors as we mourn this loss together and take action steps forward to create a safer community for all.
Please join us and other local experts for an educational panel on sexual assault, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and youth safety for our local Transgender community.
