All About STIs Education April 29, 2026 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM ET Virtual Over 50% of Americans will experience a sexually transmitted disease or infection at some point in their lives, but many people aren't comfortable talking about it. Come learn about STDs from a Planned Parenthood educator in a stigma- and shame-free environment. We'll cover all the basics like prevention, testing and treatment, talk about what life is like when you’re living with an STD, and discuss how to talk about it with a partner. Demystifying Sex Education Education May 6, 2026 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM ET Virtual Are you ready to confidently advocate for the health education of your children? Join "Demystifying Sex Education: A Workshop for Parents" and discover what quality sex education looks like for middle school students, from consent and bodily autonomy to healthy relationships and decision-making skills. In this 90-minute interactive workshop, you will explore how comprehensive sex education aligns with your values as a parent, learn practical strategies for talking about these important topics with other parents in your community, and develop the tools you need to effectively advocate for programs in your community's schools. Whether you are curious about what is currently being taught, want to understand the research behind comprehensive approaches, or are ready to take action and ensure that all children receive the education they need to grow up safe, healthy, and confident, this workshop will equip you with knowledge and community connections.

Creating Inclusive Spaces Education May 13, 2026 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM ET Virtual LGBTQIA+ youth face an increasingly hostile political climate that often trickles into spaces that should be safe. With the mounting body of evidence showing a decline in youth mental health, it’s important for youth-serving professionals to learn how to create inclusive, safe environments. In this workshop, we will talk about gender, and sexuality, and identify evidence-informed strategies to include LGBTQIA+ youth communities in our work. This is a professional development opportunity and will include interactive discussions and activities. Upon request, participants who complete the workshop will receive a certificate of completion. Content note: This workshop contains discussions of difficult topics, including but not limited to self-harm and suicidal ideation.
