In-Person Events

Letter Writing to Fund Care
Monday, March 2, Garrison
Wednesday, March 4, White Plains
Funding for sexual and reproductive health care has become severely strained, made even worse by the federal government's defunding of Planned Parenthood in July.
We're advocating for our lawmakers in Albany to ensure Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, New York's Planned Parenthood affiliates, and other providers
keep our doors open and remain strong sources of sexual and reproductive health care.
Cheese and Wine for Repro Health Care
Thursday, March 5, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Dobbs Ferry
PPHP is excited to collaborate with Bloomy Cheese and Provisions on a wine and cheese tasting experience coupled with activism at HudCo in Dobbs Ferry.
We'll have four wine and cheese pairings that cheesemonger and repro health care activist Jessica will lead us through. You'll snack on accoutrements, get to know other advocates and activists in the community, and taste incredible cheeses. We'll then clear the table and briefly discuss the landscape of reproductive health care in the face of last July's defunding of Planned Parenthood and learn about what we're doing at the state level to ensure we remain open and strong. Lastly, we'll write letters to our state elected officials, urging them to support reproductive health care access in this year's state budget.
Tickets are $40 per person to offset the cost of the tasting.
Thank Our Abortion Providers
Tuesday, March 10, 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Smithtown
As you know, threats to abortion care in the U.S. are increasing every day. Abortion providers in New York deliver essential reproductive health services to those who need them. National Abortion Provider Appreciation Day is March 10. Join us to give thanks to PPHP staff who continue to offer safe and nonjudgemental care during a time when our access to comprehensive reproductive health care is at stake.
JOIN US

Join Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic organizers and volunteers as we go door-to-door to talk to our neighbors to inform people of all the services available at PPHP, answer questions and correct misinformation (our doors are still open!), and more.

Share Your Story
Every Planned Parenthood supporter and patient advocate has a story to tell as to why they support access to sexual and reproductive health care.
Stories humanize our work to show Planned Parenthood's commitment to the health and wellness of the people and communities we serve through our health care services, education programs, and fearless advocacy.
With sexual and reproductive health care under constant attack, it is essential that we share as many stories as possible to raise awareness and engage more people in our movement.
