The overturning of Roe v. Wade has had our communities across the country mobilizing and marching in the streets by the thousands for abortion access. This healing circle will be an opportunity to pause and unpack how this moment is impacting our bodies and hearts.

Join PPHP, Malikah and other partnering organizations (PPGNY, Jahajee Sisters, Alliance for Girls, Women's Diversity Network, South Queens Women's March, SOAR, HEART, Queer Crescent, and PFY) for a virtual space for processing, community, and sustaining ourselves in this fight. We will be doing an overview of the state of abortion access, naming ways to take action, and of course holding space for grief, anger, numbness, and the full spectrum of emotions folks may be feeling in this moment.

Part 1: Destigmatizing Abortion Through Language Training

Part 2: Having Difficult Conversations Training
Thursday, July 21, 2022
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (virtual)

RSVP here.

The truth is having an abortion is common. Data shows that nearly one in four American women have an abortion by the time they're 45 -- we also know that people of all genders access abortion care. So why can it be so hard to talk about?

In this interactive training series, we'll have an honest discussion about how abortion stigma impacts our lives, how changing our language can help chip away at the stigma around this fundamental right, and practice tangible skills and tactics to have more effective conversations around the importance of abortion access.

Share Your Story: Why Is Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Care Important to You?

Submit Your Story Here.

Storytellers help others to understand who they are and why it's important to take action to protect our rights and access. With sexual and reproductive health care under constant attack, we have found that sharing these stories is an effective tool to raise awareness about the central health care role that Planned Parenthood plays in communities.

Planned Parenthood supporters and patients have stories to tell, and want to speak up! We share their stories to publicize the wide array of health services that Planned Parenthood provides and to highlight the importance of access to reproductive, sexual, and preventive health care. It also humanizes our work in order to demonstrate Planned Parenthood's commitment to the health and wellness of the people we serve.
