Join us in Whatcom County at Beach Cat Brewing for a monthly community gathering. Pints & Progress will take place on the last Tuesday of each month unless otherwise stated. The focus of this meeting will change month to month, but will they always be based in how our community can support reproductive and gender affirming healthcare. Activities may include legislative letter writing, volunteer q+a's, and art! We will be indoor with seating on a first come first serve. Virtual meeting on Microsoft Teams
Sign up for our virtual orientation on Microsoft Teams to become a volunteer. This orientation is for Whatcom and Skagit counties as well as the San Juan Islands in Western Washington. The general training will be about 2 hours with a break halfway through. We will then cover the Health Center Greeter training. We will discuss safety, policies, and volunteer best practices. Content warning: This orientation will cover materials that we would like to inform you of before the training. These include rape, abortion, navigating hostile encounters, and other subjects. If this is a concern for you, or if you have any accessibility requests, please reach out to Leydi.Hernandezquiros@ppgwni.org before the orientation. You will receive an email the day before the training with virtual meeting information. See you there!
