As you may know, I am a supporter of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC (PPMW). Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, PPMW was making strong strides in healthcare for all who live in DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. For example, PPMW launched Primary Care in 2019, they have been subsidizing contraception for hundreds of women and teens through their Contraceptive Equity Fund, and PPMW offers reproductive health services for men as well as women.
When the shelter-in-place order happened, PPMW remained open to make sure healthcare was available and affordable. Please join me in celebrating their successes and the Impact Makers who have supported PPMW at their upcoming Impact Gala.
